Our church was formed in 1958 and was known as First Congregational Church. In 1968 our new name was established - First United Church of Christ.

Our church is a community of believers, and lovers of the word of God. First UCC Hollywood has a long tradition of outreach and service to its members and the community.

Meet Our Pastor

Pastor Jack Branford began his ministry on staff in a large suburban church in upstate New York. His next church was in a rough area where there was a lot of ministry done for the homeless. He moved to Florida in 2006 to escape from winter!

Pastor Jack has three adult sons, three daughters-in-law, and 6 grandchildren. He likes to read and ride his bicycle.

Pastor Jack is also a hospice chaplain and finds that hospice work enhances church ministry with a different perspective on how the world works.
